Breakfast is a institution and is incomparable to any other afterhours in London. The party is the biggest of its kind in the capital.. Falling over 3 floors (the basement: minimal tech, the terrace: house, electro, prog) and the loft: soulful house. We also of course have the infamous EGG garden. The garden is the very heart of what makes Breakfast special. A place to chat, smoke, drink, be very silly, dance like loonies and even do cartwheels if you wish!! Covered and heated in the winter months and uncovered in the summer for that "SPACE, IBIZA" terrace feel. The garden sees different themes every month, from a full beach (no heonestly), a mad hatters tea party, a graveyard, to lit up 70's style dancefloors.. You really have no idea what will be coming next when you walk in the venue. Breakfast see's around 1k PLUS people walk through its doors every Sunday morning from all walks of life. Straight, gay, white, black, dressed up, dressed down, English, Italian, German, French, Spanish... And the list goes on. We've even had the odd telletubby or too!! (we LOVE people who come to the venue in fancy dress). There is nothing "cliquey" about Breakfast, its a non-pretentious party and we love being the London afterparty mis-fits!! All that matters is that you come down, enjoy yourselves and have fun!! When you come to Brekkie you normally go home having made 15 new friends. People dont really stand in groups not speaking to one and another, we all mingle into one big EGGY mess!! The garden is a notorius spot to start having a natter and a dance with complete strangers.
The venue itself has gone from strength the strength in the last year with its brand new Funktion 1 sound system (we updated the old one) the sound in the club is probably some of the best you'll hear in the country. We have a brand new laser on the middle floor that you wont see anywhere else in the world. Its absolutely beautiful with prisms of colour blasting the middle floor (see the photo below!!) we also have the super cool "daft punk" esque LED boards in the basement and also the middle floor. The club will be expanding and also changing around completely this year, and as of next week we will have fully functioning kitchens inbetween the venue and the Apothecary. This means you can go next door to the Apothecary and have breakfast and a few pints Berlin style - then back to party.. There will be games and bingo amongst many things next door too... As you can see there are many, many fun times to be had in the coming year!!!
For Breakfast's birthday we will be welcomed by Spencer Parker (Rekids), Severino (Horse Meat Disco) and Nico De Ceglia (Codex), Ben Gomori, Alex Arnu and also appearing in the basement will be PULP sessions and Ibiza's MiMo party. We will be giving away free mementos in the form of silver brekkie keyrings to the first lucky 100 people to grab one!! You will also be given free gifts around the venue in the morn. Also free for you all will be delicious vodka espresso cocktails (zinnnng!!) and you will be able to pick up breakfast next door as mentioned above.
There is set to be a ridiculous amount of shenanigans as seen at last years bday so feel free to dress up and come on your most rascaly behaviour to listen to some quality music and have a blast to help us celebrate!!
