Ben Dela-Peña, resident DJ at UP^^, part of the Sedition DJs crew and a regular at venues like Pacha, Ministry of Sound and Turnmills, returns this month with his ZIPCODE party at PLAN-B with the help of fellow residents Carl Johnston & Joe Cullen…special guests are Dominique Danielle (House FM / SASH) and Graeme Lloyd (Subbass)
ZIPCODE continue their Summer Sessions which were kick started in style with Bora Bora legend Oliver Lang and SASH main man Brad 212 Finlay back in June-a big thank you is deserved! Once again the ZIPCODE crew return with their bi-monthly residency at the exquisite PLAN-B venue, a rugged industrial design but sexy interior feel décor with comfortable lounge areas, a solid dance floor, unique lighting system which is surrounded with the best in Funktion One sound System to give that all important ‘club atmosphere’.
ZIPCODE special guests on the night is Subbass supremo Graeme Lloyd. A London based DJ/Producer Graeme Lloyd is one of a new breed of rising stars on the international dance music scene. Over the past 3 years Graeme has graced some of the biggest clubs in the world, including, Cream (Amnesia,Ibiza), Bora Bora (Ibiza) Pacha (London) The Cross (London) Dusted @ The Egg (London) SW4 and Electric Gardens Festivals to name just a few. Graeme has become a regular at The Gallery (Turnmills, London) playing alongside some of the biggest names in the world including Sister Bliss, Pete Tong and Tall Paul. This Autumn will see Graeme start a new residency at The Cross for Twisted Disco. one of London's freshest Friday nights. Internationally Graeme has played at events in Russia, Australia, Kiev, Norway, Ibiza, and Asia. Graeme's first track ‘Candiru’ is due for release by Playtime Recordings shortly, it's a collaboration with The Cheshire Catz and is fast becoming a minimal anthem, with support on the Space terrace and plays from the likes of Mason and John Aquaviva, ‘Candiru’ was recently featured on JNR Js DJ magazine cover CD. With 2 follow up tracks ready to go on Devore, the first a collaboration with Ben De La Pena and the second Graeme's first solo release. Graeme has also been busy in the studio with Gallery resident Tania Von Pear, their first track 'Slave' has been picked up by Roger Sanchez for his Pacha Ibiza sets. If you haven’t seen him play before then this is the perfect time to catch one of the busiest DJs in the studio and hear what all the noise is about! Plan-B and Brixton will be getting hectic! Also on the night Dominique Danielle will be warming things up nicely. A talent and absolute star she has become such a name on the London scene over the last 3 years. She is the voice of HOUSE FM (www.housefm.net) with her weekly breakfast show, entertaining her huge audience with a blend of warm collective sounds from deep, tech minimal grooves to funky soulful electro.Dominique is also resident for the infamous Sunday daytime SASH parties where she appears weekly to a central London crowd. She has played at some of London’s top nightclubs such as The Egg, Canvas, Ministry of Sound, Pacha, Aquarium, Turnmills, Dust, Chapel Bar and Hidden (formerly Studio 33) and has taken her talents as far as Kazakhstan where she graced the decks at the renowned Di Wang, Club Escape as well as an appearance at Starsky's in Cyprus. A combination of raw talent, unique musical taste and an inspirational attitude to her passion are just some of the reasons why this girl has got it going on-you have to hear her to believe!
