Republic Artists has quickly gained a reputation for organising some of the best underground parties in London and Europe thanks largely to its stable of exciting, talented, up & coming DJs gathered from around the world.
Since its official launch in November 2007 at club Factory (formally Club Life) Republic Artists has gone on to host parties at some of London’s largest and most respected venues. Their annual Thames and Ibiza sunset boat parties are now legendary and it is the after party for the Thames version that we will be playing host to on this Saturday in April.
Headlining will be the legend that is Colin Dale. A key member of the dance music scene for well over 20 years, this man has remained sincere to his craft and remained in the shadows of the underground and as a result, hugely respected by the industry and his peers. It was back in 1985, Colin was one of the key members of the pirate radio station Kiss FM and “Abstrakt Dance” radio show was born. For 16 years “Abstrakt Dance” was a ground-breaking show which quite simply bought Techno to the masses. Guests on the show included All the UR crew, Hawtin, Angel, Pullen, Garnier, Saunderson, Craig, May, Cox……the list goes on. From that day forth, Colin Dale has travelled the globe and destroyed more than his share of dancefloors, and is rightly known as a pioneer of the techno scene is this country and beyond.
In addition to Mr Dale, there will be a LIVE PA performance by Arthur Keen and Mont Blanco(Alex) will also be in the house and behind the decks. An exciting prospect following the release of several techno monsters on Black Sheep Trax & the tune T2 with Grayson from Deepgroove. Tomasuchy and Repulic Artist residents will also be in attendance and supplying the beats.
An exciting night with some of the best techno this side of Detroit. Pure quality and expect a great crowd dancing through until dawn.
