Right, so we’ve just about come down from the vibe of the last Comfy Numbed and we’ve been gagging for our next fix of all things Blissed and Twisted. Without sounding like an overly hyped game show host on meth though, we just have to say that this month’s show is a real Phucking Humdinger.
But enough with the chit chat, let’s get this puppy in the air!
On Friday the 18th August Comfortably Numbed presents Elek2ronik (See what we did there) at Inigo Bar blah, blah, blah... Formalities and intro’s over… Its our last event for the Summer folks and we’ve managed to secure ITALY’s best Kept Secret as far as Monstrous Electronic House music is concerned (Don’t believe us, have a little listen for a taste)! We are proud to be responsible for the man’s UK Debut and we think it’s safe to say it will definitely not be his last. Remember where you saw him first and please help us in showing some true Comfortably Numbed hospitality to… Mr. ALEX KENJI. Armed with an arsenal of beats ready to unleash a Unique style of Big Room Electronic House & Sexy Tech - most of which is produced by the man himself! We reckon he’ll no doubt rock Inigo in True Comfortably Numbed Style! His music is supported by the likes of Hernan Cattaneo, Omid of SOS uk, Chris Lake, Dj Rooster, Luke Dzerziek, Jason Nevins, Micheal Gray, Cirez D, Jon Gurd and may others and with his album SUPERSENSATIONALDISCO under his belt, he is by no means a light weight. That is why we’ve gone the extra mile not only to bring you the freshest musical experience that you come to expect at Comfortably Numbed but we reckon its about time for Alex Kenji to be exposed to the best & most amazing Crowd in London…which, in case you were wondering, is YOU!
And once again trying not to sound too much like an excited telesales advert… But wait, there’s MORE!!! We’re counting ourselves as lucky to have a Second International Artist who is definitely on Course to do big things! All the Way from the S of A – we have Paul Bingham arriving fresh off the Float after his ESP Residents trip to the Zurich Street Parade. Paul Bingham is one of JHB’s Finest Exports and has already made leaps & bounds with both his tracks (“Buzz” & “Sounds like Acid”) being signed to Robbie Rivera’s Juicy Trax and creating quite a stir among top DJs including Erick Morillo who charted his track “Buzz” a few months back. With the launch of his own label Chameleon Muzik next month – it’s all coming together for Paul and we couldn’t think of a better way to break his UK Debut cherry than to get him Comfortably Numbed!
As usual, the night will be marched into debauchery and hosted by the Duo of Daftness - 2 PhUnKeD uP! They have hijacked the night to make it the official launch of their site www.2PhUnKeDuP.com so you know it’s going to be silliness all round…
And last but definitely not least we have the Quality of Mr Tony Aggro on Warm up Duty. The Silly Sundays head honcho and Resident will no doubt be getting everyone in the mood to unleash the fury and forget about the working week gone past! Anyone who was on the addiction Boat party a few weeks ago will know what we mean. Quality Beats through & through!
