It’s been over a month since the earthquake and tsunami that left thousands dead or missing and hundreds of thousands living in shelters or without electricity, yet Japan is still in chaos and recent aftershocks have only made matters worse. With the media calling it the most expensive natural disaster in history it’s easy to feel helpless, but in fact every penny counts. Please help by coming and supporting the Help Japan Benefit gig on Easter Saturday at London’s Bussey Building.
All proceeds from the party will go to The Foundation for Social Contribution – http://www.fsoco.org/ – an organisation working independently from the government that specialises in delivering essentials like clothes, water and food to the most affected areas. Set up by the local people of Fukushima, they’re trained to reach the right places, using the local infrastructure.
A delectable selection of live performers, artists and DJs are donating their time from the realms of psy-trance in one room, downtempo, psy-chill, acoustic, bands, and singers in the other, followed by morning prog and funky techno! Plus there’s going to be mind-bending visuals, décor and Live Japanese drumming.
ALL PROCEEDS WILL GO TO JAPAN!!
