'When I first walked down the infamous staircase at Turnmills in a very early hour one Sunday morning in 1991, I remember saying to my friend as we reached the last few steps; "this club is different"! I would never have imagined that in 2013 I am working for TRADE as it's new promoter! Steven Sharp

It's time once again for TRADE's Birthday!

The History: Certain club brands create a magical moment in clubbing history by cultivating something different and unique in an often stagnated scene who has seen it all before. When TRADE was launched by Laurence Malice, it's creative team saw there was a need for a fresh approach to London clubbing, a hedonistic feeling was required to establish and develop a new alternative. Music is always best in this great city when it is ground breaking and forward thinking, and that mantra has been the backbone of what this brand has stood for from its inception and after all these years, it is still the approach of what TRADE's future encapsulates.

The Birthday: When we launched our TRADE - THE BIRTHDAY Free Ticket Offer we were genuinely overwhelmed by the response. There is so much love for TRADE from our customers of old and the inquisitive new generation, who have heard the legendary stories and want the experience the party for themselves. The TRADE Collective wanted to give something back for all the loyal support our incredible clubbers have given us, so early registrations got you a FREE TICKET! Our philosophy is to always respect the past but also look ahead to what is about to happen and once again break the expected rules which is why this TRADE Birthday is on at this particular venue, on this particular date at this particular timeframe.

The Artwork & Design: The artwork will be exclusively designed by the legendary British artist, Trademark. Mark has been responsible for the majority of Trade's iconic images over the years and was part of the original founding team when Trade was launched. Mark has worked with the likes of David Bowie, Kate Moss, Boy George and Kylie Minogue

The Performances: Bright Daffodil will be programming all the distinctive room performances with her stylish and sophisticated take on modern performance art with lots of incredibly stunning muscle boys, intellectual sassy hot ladies and lots of inbetweeners!

The Production: Each room will be themed accordingly to the season it represents. There will be leaves on the floor of TRADE Autumn; snow machines in TRADE Winter; flowers in TRADE Spring and sandcastles and sculptures in TRADE Summer. Plus lots of surprises throughout!

The Sound of TRADE: The exciting uniqueness of dance music is its ever evolving desire to look ahead and create the future. Music is forever changing - this party will respect from where Trade began and will never forget its ground breaking sonic legacy but expect different frequencies of TRADE separated across four different floors. Something for everyone we think!
