Drum Trax proudly announces, for the first time in Brazil, London’s nº1 hard dance DJ Phil Reynolds, as part of his South American mini-tour to launch his long-awaited debut album Digital Revolution. On 28th July Phil Reynolds will play an exclusive set at HAzaRD, to be held at club Deputamadre, Belo Horizonte’s most underground and forward-thinking venue. Drum Trax resident DJs Pedra, Phill and Renato Valadares complete the line-up. After Brazil, Phil will fly to Argentina, where he’ll be headlining Rise Up! Reloaded in Buenos Aires.
Phil Reynolds has been a reference on the hard dance scene over a decade, headlining countless events such as Hard House Academy, Polysexual, Slinky, Escape Into The Park and Creamfields, to name just a few. From Australia to Argentina, from Ibiza to Japan (and now Brazil!), Phil Reynolds has been rocking dance floors around the world with his trademarked hard trance, which made him the first ever Frantic resident. Nowadays Phil regularly plays at HeatUK and Innovate gigs in London as well as runs his labels Impact Recordings and brand-new Digital Creation. The first two releases on the latter were “Wanna Go For a Ride”, made in collaboration with Technikal, and “Losing Power”, a tech-trance cut produced alongside Greg Brookman.
Digital Revolution will be released on 14th July at Koko (formerly Camden Palace), where Phil Reynolds is playing a six-hour back-to-back set on the main stage with fellow producers Andy Farley, Ian Betts, Technikal, Kevin Energy and Steve Blake. Two weeks later he’s crossing the Atlantic to unleash his uplifting and hard-grooving bassline tunes in Brazilian shores for the first time ever. Founded in 2003, Drum Trax is the leading hard beats brand in Minas Gerais state, having booked local DJs such as Roger Lyra and Alex S, as well as international artists by the likes of D.A.V.E. The Drummer, Chris Liberator and hard dance producer Ali Wilson. Throughout these years Drum Trax has been working to introduce hard dance and its variations in Brazil.
