One - The Uplifting Room launch party
As the summer draws to a close, One offers you another chance to show off that tan at the most talked about free party in London. After having run continuously through the summer, which is no mean feat, we bring you another fantastic funky house, trance and hard dance afternoon in the sublime Southside Bar. Located right in the heart of town we're only a few tube stops away rom all the major clubbing hotspots, not least of all the Fridge in Brixton which will be hosting our official afterparty, Innovate!
Musically we\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'ve got one of our strongest line-ups yet. The launch of the Funky Bar last month means that our main room can now concentrate on the tranceier side of things, so come and help us celebrate the launch of our Uplifting Room. Opening the night with a progressive set is Lorenzo Barrero. With recent and upcoming sets at The Edge (club 414) and Frantic, he\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s someone to keep an eye on. Moving things onwards and upwards is DJ Neil R. He\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'ll be dropping some classic trance and anyone that saw him in July will have seen that he really knows how to pack a dancefloor and keep it that way. And then we have Innovate and Twisted\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s very own Trevor McLachlan. Those of you that have heard Trevor play know that he never fails to impress. Having played or held residencies at nights like Affinity, U4ria, Tilt, Friendz, Oblivion and the Andy Farley Finale, we\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'re very pleased to have him on board, and with an upcoming set at Extreme Euphoria, he\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s someone you don\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t want to miss. He\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s followed by K.A.R.L. who\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s back playng uplifting, pumping trance as only he can. He too has an future set at Twisted and you can catch him here exclusively first! And then the night will be rounded off by Conrad who, as it\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s birthday this month, will be taking the roof off with an hour and a half of euphoric UK hard trance. Come and join the party and we\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'re sure he won\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t mind if you buy him a drink or two!
Upstairs in the Funky Bar is the second month of the DJ competition. This month we\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'re thrilled to welcome OpaqueJake, Splinta, Lee Jarvis and 2 Phunked Up into our brand new second room. Make sure you come down early to support your favourite. After last months huge success, D-Zyn has secured a place on our New Years Eve line up, with Murray Scotland currently taking a second slot.
And speaking of New Years Eve, make sure you keep checking the website for details of our FREE NYE Party. That\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s going to be huge.
We\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'ve got another huge selection of special offers and giveaways for you again. As usual there\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s free CDs, 2 for 1 cocktails before 7pm, free shots throughout the night and a double vodka red bull is only £3 all night! On top of that, if you wanted to carry on clubbing after 11pm, we\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'ve got concession passes that get you into Innovate for only £5! That\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s a fiver to see Nick Sentience, Ian M, Ali Wilson, Tara Reynolds and Donna Birt. You can\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t say fairer that that.
We\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'ve got another little treat for you this month as well. As we\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'ve said, we\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'ve got Lorenzo playing. Anyone that\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s met him will know that he\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s a walking musical encyclopaedia. If anyone can ask him to name any tune that\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s played during the night and he can\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t, he\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'ll buy you a drink of your choice, guaranteed. How\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s that for a challenge?
Finally, if you\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'re a budding DJ and you\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'d be interested in playing for us, come down on the night (feel free to bring a demo) and have a chat with us and see what we\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'re about.
