Abandon reason and join PACHA IBIZA on an INSANE trip each Friday night this summer. With dance deviants John Digweed and Fritz Kalkbrenner as residents, Pacha Ibiza’s new weekly Friday club night Insane promises to drop clubbers into a dark, twisted world of deep techno and undiluted house sessions.
Launching May 24, Insane is firmly focused on the hypnotising journey of sound that only talented DJs can provide. As well as its two residents (John Digweed will play 12 dates, and Fritz Kalkbrenner, 8 dates), Insane will feature DJ sets from true dancefloor visionaries like X-Press 2, Fabrics Terry Francis, Visionquests Lee Curtiss, Monika Kruse, UNER, Nic Fancuilli, H.O.S.H, Pleasurekraft, Olivers, and Steve Lawler.
At four INSANE parties, DJ Sneak, Mark Farina, and Derrick Carter will play back-to-back-to-back. Their upcoming mammoth DJ sessions are testament to INSANEs commitment to provide pure dancefloor experiences.
John Digweed and Fritz Kalkbrenner are the perfect residents for INSANE. Digweed is a genuine authority on deep tech-laced dance music, and the British heros radio show Transitions is one of the most listened-to radio shows in electronic music.
German Fritz Kalkbrenner is currently one of the hottest acts in electronic music (along with his brother Paul). His second album Sick Travellin was released in October 2012 on SUOL, and it was a huge critical and commercial success. As well as being a celebrated producer, Fritz Kalkbrenner is an amazing live performer and at Pacha Ibiza this summer he will demonstrate that. In addition SUOL will host three special label parties in one of Pacha Ibizas rooms this season, with special guests being flown in just for the night.
