Since it’s launch at the start of January ‘SubSoul’ has quickly become the place to be for unpretentious music lovers looking for the perfect party soundtrack on a Saturday night. With a brilliant line up of residents each bringing their own flavour to the night this bank holiday special is set to be a road block, as most weeks have been, with the legendary Jazzie B taking to the decks for 4 hours straight.
While for many the west end has been a Saturday night no go Jazzie B and Spin Doctor have always seen it as the epicenter of the capitals party scene, since their days spinning at the Africa Centre. They have been proved right as they have been joined by Chris P Cuts and a host of special guests to spin everything from Soul & Disco to Hip-Hop & House and way beyond for a packed house every week.
Jazzie B: The original Funki Dred
Playing and making records since 1977, Jazzie is one of the few true international legends of modern soul music. With Soul II Soul he’s scored Number One hits all over the world; has won two Grammies and an Ivor Novello award; and received an OBE and the keys to no less than seven American cities – some states even celebrate a Soul II Soul Day. As busy now as he’s ever been, deejaying all over the world, and with a BBC London 94.9 radio show, ‘SubSoul’ presents him with an opportunity to spin the records that played such a large part in his early success on the sound system scene and with tonight’s exclusive 4 hour set you will definitely be getting your monies worth!

The driving force behind The Doctor’s Orders Spin has been promoting and rocking parties in London for longer than he might care to mention and while best known for his dedication to Hip-Hop his passion for all genres is undoubted as he has been showing with his incredible Soul fueled sets at this brilliant basement weekly jam.
Chris P Cuts: Star in the making.
Already establishing himself as one of the most exciting DJs on the underground party scene Chris has been expanding his reputation week on week with this his first residency. Always fearless in the variety of his selection his ear for a floor filler has had them reaching for the ceiling every Saturday night.
