The HarderFaster Annual Party 2003 - Full Details!
Reported by HarderFaster

After last year's unbelievably good HarderFaster Launch Party, we're well overdue for another get-together of the HarderFaster massive! Saturday afternoon, May 31st 2003 is the date and we've booked out the awesome Club Aquarium for our exclusive use for the afternoon. Two rooms each carrying a storming lineup reflecting the DJs mainstream and bedroom that have rocked your world over the last 12 months.
The DJs
With his tracks receiving more airtime on London's harder dancefloors over the last 12 months than any other producer around, HarderFaster favourite James Lawson needs little introduction from us. You told promoters time and again that you wanted to hear James play later sets in the main rooms of London's clubs, now see and hear him deliver a closing headline set at our 2003 Annual Party You can bet James will have been in the studio cooking up some more dancefloor monsters over the previous few weeks so expect fresh tunes, great mixing and a set that will completely blow you away.
You voted his performance at Hard House Academy in October last year the best set of 2002, so what better man to book for our party than the legend himself, Steve Hill. He's got a string of record releases as long as your arm, a residency at London superclub Frantic, responsibility for A&R at Y2K and Tripoli but most importantly for us you will not find a more entertaining DJ behind the decks than Steve. Expect the usual Hill mayhem.
We think that HarderFaster's own Tom Allen has earned a short break from slaving away at his computer deep in the dungeons here at HarderFaster Towers to allow him to bring you one of his trademark hard, driving but always uplifting sets. If you've heard Tom play at any of his recent high profile gigs around the Capital you'll know what to expect and we're assured by him that this set in particular will be taken from the very top drawer
Next up a DJ who's been around since 1994 and someone who's dedication, enthusiasm and love of the scene is self evident from the moment you meet him to when you see one of his performances in a club. Carl Nicholson always gives it loads behind the decks, plays wicked tunes, mixes like a legend and is one of those characters who can lift a club up by it's ears and drag everyone to the front of the dancefloor - exactly the kind of person we were looking for in other words.
Finally, Ground Zero resident Daegal Brain has just got better and better over the last 12 months. Every time we've seen him play we just couldn't help but be caught up in his infectious enthusiasm behind the decks, a natural entertainer and with great tune selection he's pretty much the perfect person to kick off the party for us. Make sure you're there early to catch him play
This year we're also hosting a second room into which we've packed some HarderFaster favourites and at the same time some of London (and Ireland's ) most promising DJ and production talents. Here's the full lineup in both rooms:
Main Room
James Lawson (Nukleuz)
Steve Hill (Frantic)
Tom Allen (HarderFaster)
Carl Nicholson (TdV)
Daegal Brain (Ground Zero)
Room Two
Paul Reeves (Dirty DJs)
Dave Lochrie (Impact)
Lachlan Doolan (Friendz)
Lizzie Curious (Come)
Shaun Rowland (becomeone)
About the Venue
Club Aquarium is a unique venue not just because it's the only club in London that has a swimming pool in one of the rooms While the pool room will be open on the day of the party that's not the main reason we picked this underused venue: it's a clean, well lit club with an excellent sound system in 2 rooms, nice chillout areas, a bar close to and overlooking the dancefloor and most importantly a proper club feel on the dancefloor while retaining a nice sociable vibe in the 3 bar areas.
How to get there: Nearest tube is Old Street which is on the Bank branch of the Northern Line. Take Exit 3 out of the tube and Club Aquarium is 100 yards down Old Street straight ahead of you.
Guestlist Entry
We're running a guestlist for HarderFaster members which allows you to come to the party for the bargain price of £8, it'll be more on the door on the day. To get on the guestlist, just drop an email to guestlist@HarderFaster.net telling us your HarderFaster member name and we'll add you on. If you'd like to bring guests who aren't members just let us know their full names so we can add them on as well. Guestlist is open NOW.
We look forward to seeing you there
Remember: This will be your first and only opportunity to attend a HarderFaster party in 2003
