BK

» It's Just A Feeling

Label: Riot! Recordings
Format: 12" Vinyl
Genre: Hard House

Ladies and gentleman, the BK of old has returned! In what is a triumphant return to form, BK has revisited the classic 'HardBeat' sound which earnt him his legion of loyal followers and has turned out 'It's Just A Feeling', a cover of the Terrorize anthem of the same name and the first single to be taken from his forthcoming artist album 'Under The Influence'.

Four mixes are on offer including a super-tough schranz workout from The Organ Donors and a lighter house mix from White Russian, but it's all about the Cortina & BK's Back to 99 remixes here. Fusing the classic pianos from the original with the infamous rave riff and sublime resung vocals (courtesy of HF's very own Stacey Kitson), BK has created a neo-bounce masterpiece. Although the production is fairly standard and certainly not breaking any moulds, that isn't really the point of this record. What is the point is that it's fun, uplifting, funky and is absolutely guaran-damn-teed to kickstart any dancefloor to life. BK has spent the past few years flirting with different genres in his productions and many have been longing for the 'fun' factor from his glory days at Nukleuz. Well, people should now look no further. BK has brought HardBeat back, and in a time when people are crying out for the fun side of hard dance to return, it looks like he has timed the release of this record to absolute perfection.

An early contender for hard dance anthem of 2007 and I'm sure you'll be hearing this, well, pretty much everywhere in the months to come.
